The first step in making sure that you use the engineered wooden flooring adhesive correctly is to make sure that you spread the adhesive evenly on one side of the floor going about two feet away from the wall to the wall. It's best to start on the wall that is away from the door. Then you want to make sure that you lay the boards on the edge of the floor, making sure that the grooved sides are facing the wall. Then connect the pieces using their tongue and grooves and make sure that you cut the final piece to fit. Make sure that you continue out across the floor doing this the whole way.
After Day One
Once you have run out of room to work anymore and you have no more engineered flooring adhesive to apply let the floor dry for a night. It's best to not apply the last bit of adhesive until the daytime so that you can make sure that you don't have to step on the boards that have already been fitted and placed on adhesive. On the second day you should make sure that the boards that are already fitted are secure and move on with what is left. Make sure that your engineered wooden flooring adhesive is working and holding the boards in place. Once you do this you can finish the rest of the floor and let it sit overnight. When you wake up the next day you can check to make sure that things are secure and then you are done.
